Your wedding dance is one of the truly special moments of your wedding or commitment celebrations. You want your first dance together to be special and memorable.
We love weddings and commitment ceremonies!!! It’s wonderful to be able to contribute to such a special day. If you want a memorable alternative to a Wedding Waltz then Swing or Rock’n’Roll is for you!
We provide private lessons run by experienced, excellent, wedding dance instructors that are tailored to your dance experience. We can also help you pick the perfect music and choreograph a bespoke routine to your song.
Preparing for your special day (or night) can be very busy, and stressful, so don’t leave this important part to the last minute. If you want to feel confident and enjoy this special moment, then contact us sooner rather than later. Even if it’s just to have a chat to get a plan in place or help you get started.
Whether you’ve danced before or not, have two left feet or not, we can help you with your first dance!!!
Please note: If you book a wedding lesson or package with us and need to cancel a lesson 24 hours notice must be given to avoid being charged for the lesson.
If you’d prefer more personal lessons we also offer private lessons for 1 or 2 people.
Whether you want to consolidate your dancing, start learning in a private context, or polish a certain aspect of your technique we have experienced private dance instructors who can tailor your private lesson to your needs.
Private lessons can be .5 hour, 1 hour, or longer, as often as agreed, for as long as required.
Please contact us to discuss your needs.
A private lesson does not mean sole use of the dancing space.
Please note: If you book a private lesson or package with us and need to cancel a lesson 24 hours notice must be given to avoid being charged for the lesson.

We hold classes in a couple of venues… Erskineville and Newtown. And another coming soon
If you click here it will take you to class information.
We specialise in dance styles from the 1920’s-1950’s. Our current group classes are in Swing/Lindy Hop and Rock’n’Roll.
Yes… again due to COVID requirements the numbers in classes are capped so we can’t guarantee a spot. Once we’ve confirmed there’s a vacancy in class and you’ve pre-booked and pre-paid then you’re all good to join class!
Normal, everyday, smart, casual, comfortable clothes you can move in. You don’t need special clothing such as yoga or gym type gear.
We suggest the shoes are not too rubbery or grippy on the soles as when you move around they may grip the dance floor. Slightly smoother soled shoes tend to be more suitable however these shoes do not need to be “special” dance shoes… just shoes from your wardrobe you are comfortable wearing. We would also suggest flat or not too high a heel.

This sometimes happens…. it’s no problems. Just try to come to class the following week to catch up.. We try to structure our class with revision of the previous week included so that you get a refresh and if you’ve missed the previous week’s class you can catch up.
These are mostly adult based classes so we suggest 18 years and older…. as long as you are able to participate in class without risk to your health (or others).
However, we have had students as young as 9 years old. If you are under 18 years of age you will need to be accompanied by a parent, guardian or agreed adult who will take responsibility for you.
Please also note sometimes our venues are registered alcohol serving venues so you will also need to comply their requirements.

We teach Australian Rock’n’Roll not European style Rock’n’Roll. Please click on the photo to play the video of some Rock’n’Roll dancing.
